Jen Atkin is the hair stylist that has done covers for both US Vogue and Elle as well as runway stylings for brands such as Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior. It’s also not for nothing that she has styled the likes of celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian, Jessica Alba and Katy Perry – to name but a few! Jen Atkin is a huge source of inspiration and her feeling for style and expertise can result in nothing less than huge success.
What advice would you give to others that want to succeed in the hair stylist branch?
- It is so important, that when starting out as a hairstylist, you assist and learn from as many people as possible. Each person you assist has something different that you can absorb and reinterpret into your own. Having that solid foundation and structure will make you the best you can be.
What do you think is the best thing about Rapunzel’s hair?
- I love the broad spectrum of colors that Rapunzel’s line of hair covers. I also love that Rapunzel’s hair is held to such a high standard, as seen in the quality of the hair.
What do you think is most important to consider when choosing hair extensions?
- Color and quality. Finding a color match that will blend into your natural hair, along with finding hair that is of the best quality, are important to consider when looking for extensions.
