Weft Extensions 40 cm is a versatile weft that can be used for a hair extension and/or thickening. The real hair has S-shaped curls that give the hairstyle a natural bounce. The hair can be styled as desired and regains its curls when washed. The soft weft follows the shape of the head for maximum comfort. Attach Weft Extensions Bouncy Curls using your favourite method – beaded weft, weaving or create your own clip-ins.

The length of the hair is measured when it is straight.
Single Layer is a weft containing 40–60 grams of hair. The Single Layer weft has a thin attachment that lies flat against the scalp and is ideal for those with fine to medium-thick hair.
Double Layer is a weft containing 100 grams of hair. The Double Layer attachment consists of two thin wefts sewn together to add extra volume. The sewn edge blends beautifully with your natural hair and is suitable for those with medium to thick hair.

Beaded Weft
Attach Micro or Nano-rings to your own hair and sew your Weft to the rings. The rings minimise weight, which means that the method is gentle on your own hair. After 4–6 weeks, move the rings up quickly and easily.
Weaving
Make a horizontal braid where you want to attach your Weft. Make sure the braid is thin and tight. Sew your Weft to the braid with a needle and thread.
DIY Clip-ins
Create your own Clip-ins by cutting your Weft into pieces that fit your head and sewing on clips at regular intervals. Don't forget to attach the cut ends with thread or a small drop of glue.
Durability
With a permanent insertion, the hair can be left in for up to 5 weeks with proper care. The hair has natural properties and gives a natural hair extension or thickening, and can easily be styled along with your own hair. Weft Extensions is perfect for ready-to-wear extensions or for people who want a permanent hair extension for a short time, e.g. holidays or special occasions.
Washing:
Wash your hair with Rapunzel of Sweden’s shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, which is adapted for extensions.
Detangle with a Wide Tooth Comb before washing. Start with the ends and work your way up.
Rinse the hair with lukewarm water and then apply shampoo from root to tip. Avoiding rubbing. Massage scalp with fingers for one minute. Rinse thoroughly and shampoo again.
Towel dry your hair with Bamboo Turban Hair Towel and then apply hair mask to the lengths, avoiding the attachments. Leave in for at least 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Apply conditioner to the lengths, avoiding the attachments and the scalp. Detangle your hair with your fingers. Rinse thoroughly.
Brush your hair when it's dry. Use hair oil and/or Moisture & Protection Spray to define curls and create a frizz-free result. Squeeze/shape the curls with your hands.
Let the hair dry naturally or blow dry on low heat with heat protection.
Finish with Revitalizing Hair Oil for rehydration and a shiny result.
Please keep in mind:
Detangle your hair at least twice a wide tooth comb. Make sure the attachments and hair are not tangled close to the scalp.
Always sleep with dry hair. Braid your hair or tie it up in a high ponytail with Bamboo Scrunchies and sleep on Rapunzel’s Bamboo Pillow Case for less wear and tear on your hair.
Always exercise with your hair braided or tucked in with the Bamboo Scrunchie.
Always use heat protection when styling with heating tools and style at maximum 180°C.
DO NOT use hair colour, colour bomb, toning, tinting, colour mask, henna, silver shampoo, bleach or similar on Nail Hair Extensions. Ask your Rapunzel hairdresser for help when dyeing extensions.
Protect the hair from the sun and avoid dipping it in the sea and chlorinated water.
Avoid contact with sunscreen and similar products that may discolour the hair.
Hair extensions are not recommended when taking certain medications and during certain diseases. Consult your doctor if you are not sure. Find out about any allergies before using extensions.

Step by step guide
Step 1.
Prepare your hair by washing your hair with Detox Charcoal Shampoo only, dry it completely and brush it through.
Prepare the attachment of your weft extensions by having the correct tools ready.
You’ll need pliers, micro or nano rings, loop, needle, thread, pin tail comb, alligator clip + hair clips and a brush.
Step 2.
Create a horizontal parting with a pintail comb and secure it over the parting with an alligator clip to avoid it slipping down.
Measure and cut the weft to fit the length of the parting. Secure the ends of the weft by resealing the edges ensuring that the hair does not detach from the weft. Do this with a small drop of glue or with a needle and thread.
Step 3.
Thread the micro rings or nano rings onto a loop or hook.
Take a section of your own hair and pull through the bead with the loop. You should feel some resistance, otherwise you have taken​ too little hair on the hook and the hair might slip out.​
Step 4.
Press the ring together using the pliers, pressing quite firmly, the micro ring should become almost flat.
Step 5.
Continue to attach the rings along the parting. The gaps in-between the rings should be about the same as the width of the hair sections you pass through the rings.
Step 6.
Use hair clips to attach the weft along the parting, to keep it secure.
Step 7.
For Double layer: Add another layer of weft on top of the beads and secure with hair clips.
For Single layer: Add a weft on top of the beads and secure with hair clips. ​
Step 8.
Start at one side and sew through the weft and next to the beads, using lock stitch by looping the thread through the loop created by the needle and thread. Repeat until end and secure tightly with a knot.​
Tip! Double thread the needle and make a knot in the end of the thread for extra security.​
FAQ - Weft Extensions
Weft extensions are rows of hair sewn together at the top, creating a flat and flexible band that is attached to your natural hair using various methods.
Single Layer uses one thin weft band for a natural look and comes in 40 grams or 60 grams, while Double Layer is 100 grams and uses two sewn bands for fuller volume and density.
Single Layer is best for fine/thin hair and a natural look. Double Layer is ideal for medium–thick hair or fuller, quicker results.
This depends on your hair type and desired result:
Fine hair, natural look: 1–2 packs of Single Layer
Medium hair, natural look: 1-2 packs of Double Layer or 2-3 packs of Single Layer
Thick hair, major volume: 2–3 packs of Double Layer or 3-4 packs of Single Layer

Yes, wefts can be curled, straightened and styled using heat protection products.
Silver Shampoo/Conditioner is possible, but bleaching or permanent colouring is not recommended as the hair has already been processed.
When installed properly and cared for properly, wefts are considered one of the gentler methods because they require no heat or glue.
Use Rapunzel’s hair care products, avoid tangling by frequently brushing, and always sleep with dry hair, preferably in a braid.
