1. After washing your hair with shampoo only, completely drying and brushing it, you can start attaching the Tape-on Extensions.

2. Part the hair into sections. Take a suitable amount of hair and apply a Tape-on Extension underneath, approx. 3–5 mm from the scalp. Then attach a new Tape-on Extension to the top of your own hair. Carefully squeeze out any air with pliers.

3. Do not wash or style the hair for at least two days after inserting Tape-on Extensions.

4. Check the attachments after 4 weeks.

5. Insertions lasts for approx. 6 to 8 weeks. Premium Tape-on Extensions can then be easily reused by moving them up and reinserting using Refill Tape.

6. During removal and reinsertion, use Hair Extensions Remover to avoid damaging your own hair.

Tip! Do you find it too heavy with two sections attached to your own section of hair? Instead, attach the sections with Single-sided Tape.

How to attach the Hair Curler 38 mm to your base:

1. Hold the Interchangeable Hair Styling Tool Base and turn the locking knob anti-clockwise so that the arrow points to the unlocked padlock icon.

2. Place the Hair Curler 38 mm in the base by following the pattern in the base.

3. Check that the cylinder is securely connected to the base, then turn the locking knob clockwise so that the arrow points to the locked padlock icon.

4. Switch on the heating tool by holding the start button for 2 - 3 seconds.

5. Set the desired temperature by clicking on the start button.

6. The display flashes during heating. When the desired temperature is reached, the display stops flashing.

7. The curling iron is now ready for use. The tool will automatically switch off after 60 minutes.

8. Divide the hair into sections. Start with the lower hair and work your way up.

9. Spray the hair with heat protection and curl one loop at a time.

Choose curling technique

Classic curls

Place the curling iron at the root of the hair loop and wrap the hair around the cylinder, all the way down to the top. Hold for 5 - 10 seconds and gently release. Let the hair cool and then comb through with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb. Fix with hairspray.

Tip! Curl the hair loops in different directions for extra volume.

Natural waves

Place the curling iron a few centimetres from the root of the loop. Wrap part of the hair around the barrel but leave the top out. Hold for a few seconds and then release the hair. Let the hair cool and then comb through with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb. Fix with hairspray.

Beach waves with curling iron

Place the curling iron a few centimetres from the top of the loop and secure with the clip. Twist the hair by turning the curling iron 1 - 2 turns in a vertical position. Then wrap the hair around the cylinder and hold for 5 - 10 seconds. Gently release the hair. Let the hair cool and then comb through with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb. Fix with hairspray.

Washing:

Wash your hair with Rapunzel of Sweden’s shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, which is adapted for extensions.

1. Detangle the hair with the Extensions Brush before washing. Start with the ends and work your way up.

2. Rinse the hair with lukewarm water and then apply shampoo from root to tip. Avoiding rubbing. Rinse thoroughly and shampoo again.

3. Towel dry your hair with Bamboo Turban Hair Towel and then apply hair mask to the lengths, avoiding the attachments. Leave in for at least 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

4. Apply conditioner to the lengths, avoiding the attachments and scalp. Rinse thoroughly.

5. Dry the attachments with a hair dryer set on a very low temperature, then let the rest air-dry if possible.

6. Detangle the hair when dry.

Please keep in mind:

• Do not mix Ultra Tape Extensions, Premium Tape Extensions, and Occasions Tape Extensions as they have different durability and lifespans.

• Detangle the hair at least twice a day with the Extension Brush. Make sure the attachments and hair are not tangled close to the scalp.

• Always sleep with dry hair. Braid your hair and sleep on Rapunzel’s Bamboo Pillow Case to reduce hair damage.

• Always work out and do sports with braided hair.

• Always use heat protection when styling with heating tools and style at maximum 180°C.

• DO NOT use hair colour, colour bomb, toning, tinting, colour mask, henna, silver shampoo, bleach or similar on Tape-on Extensions. Ask your Rapunzel hairdresser for help when dyeing extensions.

• Protect the hair from the sun and avoid dipping it in the sea and chlorinated water.

• Avoid contact with sunscreen and similar products that may discolour the hair.

• Hair extensions are not recommended when taking certain medications and during certain diseases. Consult your doctor if you are not sure. Find out about any allergies before using extensions.

Rapunzel of Sweden’s extensions are made of real hair, so they act like real hair. This means that the colour of your extensions will not always be exactly the same and may sometimes differ from the product images.
