Temporary extensions are made from real hair and require care to maintain their quality, shine and shape over time. Braid Extensions are constructed with a twisted weft that provides stability and structure – proper care helps the braid maintain both its shape and feel for longer.
Brushing:
Gently detangle from the bottom and work your way up.
Always hold the hair above where you are brushing.
Avoid brushing directly on the weft or pulling on the twisted section, as this may affect the braid’s structure.
Washing:
Wash your temporary extensions only when needed to maintain quality and durability over time. Use products designed for extensions.
How to wash:
Carefully detangle the hair before washing. Start at the ends and work your way up.
Rinse with lukewarm water.
Apply shampoo by gently smoothing it along the hair from attachment to ends – avoid rubbing or twisting.
Rinse thoroughly and repeat if needed.
Apply a hair mask to the lengths and leave in for at least 10 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly and finish with conditioner on the lengths.
Gently towel-dry and allow to air dry, preferably while hanging.
Important for Braid Extensions
Since the braid is constructed with a twisted weft, it is important to handle the upper section gently during washing. Avoid rubbing, twisting or detangling directly at the weft when the hair is wet. Instead, hold the hair and work through the lengths to preserve the braid’s structure.
Styling:
Please keep in mind:
Always remove your temporary extensions before sleeping, exercising or bathing.
Store temporary extensions in a dry and dark place, preferably in a Hair Extensions Wardrobe or hung on a Hair Hange or Hair Extensions Holder. Detangle the hair before storage.
Always use heat protection when styling with heating tools and style at maximum 180°C. Temporary extensions can be styled before insertion.
DO NOT use hair colour, colour bomb, toning, tinting, colour mask, henna, silver shampoo, bleach or similar on temporary extensions.
Avoid contact with sunscreen and similar products that may discolour the hair. Protect the hair from the sun.
Hair extensions are not recommended when taking certain medications and during certain diseases. Consult your doctor if you are not sure. Find out about any allergies before using extensions.
