How to use Halo Hairband

Halo Hairband gives you longer, fuller hair in minutes. Here’s how to find the right fit and apply your Halo for a seamless, natural-looking result.

The thread attaches differently for Light and Medium Volume, so make sure to follow the steps for your volume.

Light Volume: How to attach the thread

1. Find your thread size

Place the thread about two fingers back from your hairline and two fingers behind your ears, forming a U-shape around your head. Try the different thread sizes and choose the one that feels secure, but not tight.

2. Attach the thread

Insert the thread through the loop on the side of the Halo, going from the outside in.

3. Adjust the fit

Hook the thread onto one of the inner loops. Attaching it to a loop further in shortens the thread and creates a tighter fit.

4. Check the fit

Make sure the thread is attached with the hook opening facing upwards. Try on your Halo before styling to make sure it feels comfortable and stays securely in place.

Medium Volume: How to attach the thread

1. Find your thread size

Place the thread about two fingers back from your hairline and two fingers behind your ears, forming a U-shape around your head. Try the different sizes and choose the one that feels secure, but not tight.

2. Attach the thread

Insert the thread through the loop on the side of the Halo, going from the outside in.

3. Adjust the fit

Try on your Halo to check the thread length. If it feels too tight or too loose, switch to a better-fitting size.

4. Check the fit

Make sure the hook opening is facing upwards and your Halo feels comfortable and stays securely in place.

How to apply Halo Hairband

Now that the thread is attached to your Halo, it’s time to apply it to your hair.

1. Create a horizontal parting using a pintail comb, about two fingers back from your hairline.

2. Secure the upper section of your hair with a clip.

3. Lightly backcomb the hair closest to the parting and apply hairspray for extra grip.

4. Place the Halo along the parting, with the thread resting flat on top of your head.

5. Attach the clips to the backcombed hair.

6. Release the upper section of your hair.

7. Gently comb over and adjust the hair around the thread until it is fully hidden.
