How to use Halo Hairband

It’s never been easier to have long, voluminous hair! With the help of Halo Hairband, which can be easily attached and removed whenever you want, you get an instant hair extension or added volume. Rapunzel Halo Hairband is a hair extension comprising a weft with a thread and clips that you attach to your head like a halo.

How to attach

1. Create a horizontal parting with a pintail comb and secure the upper hair with a hair clip

2. Backcomb the hair closest to the parting and spray with hairspray

3. Place Halo Hairband along the parting, with the thread on top of the head

4. Attach the clips to the backcombed hair

5. Release the upper hair

Step by step guide

Step 1.

The Halo Hairband comes with both clips and a thin wire for super easy attachment. You can use both, or just the clips, whichever suits you best!

Step 2.

Attach the wire to the small eyelet at the other end of the hair band.

Step 3.

How to measure the wire! Measure the placement of the hairband by holding it against the back of your head. A good reference point is the occipital bone (at the base of your skull). Choose the wire length that fits this position best.

The Light Volume Hairband features multiple eyelets for size adjustment, while the Medium Volume Hairband comes with two different wire lengths. The wire should sit approximately two finger widths from your hairline.

Step 4.

Brush your hair thoroughly with the Extensions Brush or Paddle Brush.

Create a horizontal parting with a pintail comb and secure the upper hair with an alligator clip to avoid it slipping down. Leave out the face framing sections of your hair to ensure a natural final result.

In sections, backcomb the hair closest to the parting and secure with hairspray. This procedure ensures the hairband to sit extra tight and stay in place.

Step 5.

Slip on the Halo Hairband over your head from the back towards the front, lay it so that it sits snug along the created parting, with the fishing line towards the front (on top of your head).

Snap in the clips to the backcombed hair.

Step 6.

Clipped in, you’re now ready to release your top hair.

Finally, give it a gentle brush, the Halo hairband will blend perfectly with your own hair, resulting in a natural, stunning look!
