How to use Tape Extensions

Tape-on hair extensions is a quick and easy method that gives you a very natural look – no one will guess you’re wearing extensions! Here is all you need to know! Tape Extensions can be attached to all types of hair, thin or thick. It does not damage your own hair. The thin attachment is very discreet and blends in nicely with your own hair for a natural-looking result.

How to attach

  1. After washing your hair with Detox Charcoal Shampoo only, completely drying and brushing it, you can start attaching your Tape Extensions.

2. Part the hair and divide it into sections. Take a suitable amount of hair and apply a Tape-on Extension underneath, approx. 3–5 mm from the scalp. Then attach a new Tape-on Extension to the top of your own hair. Carefully squeeze out any air with pliers.

3. If possible do not style or wash your hair for at least two days after application.

4. When washing your hair avoid getting conditioner on the tape sections.

To help your fasteners last as long as possible, we recommend blow-drying your hair carefully at a low temperature after washing.

Insertions lasts for approximately 5 to 8 weeks. Check the attachments after 4 weeks. Once your hair has grown a bit it is time to re-attach your tape-ins. Use extensions remover and re-attachment tapes to renew your perfect look.

How to remove and reuse Tape Extensions

You can remove your tape hair extensions using a remover and a pin tail comb. The tape dissolves, which allows you to gently remove your hair extensions as easily as you were able to put them in. Next, you remove any tape residue. Then you can reuse the hair by applying new tape refills to the previously used bondings and attach the hair again in the same way.
