Earlier this week the staff from our hairdressing studio in Stockholm visited us here at the head office in Umeå. Together with them we enjoyed a fabulous dinner and saw an incredibly amusing show. What did you do last week?

The first picture shows my real hair without pre bonded nail hair extensions :) I have used nail hair and my sister helped me to attach it. I had 100 strands and think that it was not enough, but this can also vary depending on what kind of hair you have :) The colour I used was # 2, 24" long, straight. I bought a start up kit which is to recommend if you are a beginner. It is quite easy to understand :) For more pictures:

How nice it was to mix 3 different shades of hair extensions. I mixed colours numbers 18, 24 and 60, 20 strand of each colour!

The method I used was pre bonded nail hair extensions 16"!

It resulted in slightly thicker and longer hair!

Super pleased ;)

For several years I have regretted that I cut my long and beautiful hair and every time when I have tried to save length, my friends tell me that short hair is better suited for me. I have also fallen for the Kardashian sisters and their woooonderful long dark hair which makes me so jealous.

So I hasted to visit Rapunzelofsweden and saw that they hade a sale for cheap clip on sets so I bought one! How surprised I was to find out that the colour of the hair extensions were exactly the same colour as I myself already had! So i did not have to colour my own hair at all. It was the first time for me to have hair extensions but is was so very easy to attach. When I visited the city yesterday people looked at me and my friend said: "its your hair", and i believed her. I feel much more feminine in long hair and I believe I radiate mor confidence now.

I am so pleased with my hair extensions. As you can see my hair was very short earlier (short also in the neck area). I have used one package of skin weft extensions which I have attached "around the edges" and on the top of the head. For the rest of my head (in the middle of the head) I have used one pack of hair weft.

How simple it can be!

In a few moments I got dreamlong hair which was not difficult to attach and which was exactly the right colour for my hair after having treated it a little with silver shampoo! During the coming week wigs from Rapunzel will be used in Big Brother.

The Swedish Soap Opera program Big Brother has a special assignment for that week where the girls will be boys and vice versa. To do this wigs are needed. The wigs used in Big Brother are delivered by Rapunzel. The girls will use boy-wigs and the guys will use our long girl wigs.

During tuesday March 8th Rapunzel received a famous visitor. Blondinbella or Isabella Löwengrip the most famous blogger in Sweden. She is also an entrepreneur. Her latest project is Ego Boost Magazine.

During the visit she among other things could test working with us. During the visit at our warehouse she tested how it is to pack orders for our customers.

I have bee looking for a "white" hair extensions which would suit my super blond hair and i finally found it! :)

Thank you, I am super content it is so blond it ever can be!! I mixed in some extensions of colour 18  underneath for some effect! Here you will find the white hair extensions, colour # 6001 - I used 60 strands = 3 packages.

and 20 strands in colour # 18 which you will find here!

Here IDA has made a super long and thick hair extension by using 28" long hair extensions

She used 140-160 strands of pre bonded nail hair extensions in colour  # 613

How nice! Such long and beurtiful hair will certainly attract attention!

 On November 29th the famous Swedish blogger Desiree Nilsson visited Rapunzel of Sweden and went through an extensive makeup and styling procedure for photography and filming.

Rapunzel of Sweden was awarded by The City of Umeå a price of 4,500 pounds for best Entrepreneur, year 2010, at a grand Gala dinner. Rapunzel also was in a position to award a price!

Here comes some "behind the stage" pictures from the stylist course at "Dragonskolan" school. Some 15 pupils have participated for half a year in the Rapunzel of Sweden hair extensions course. They have been able to learn most of the hair extensions techniques, includin a new wefts machine developed by Rapunzel of Sweden. Our specialist Juan Pedro will finalize the education in june, then the pupils will get their diploma and will be able to make hair extensions on their own, professionally.

For the time beeing we engage ourself only in education when the classes consist of groups of more than 15 persons. If you are a school, institute, group or hairdresser please do not hesitate to contakta us here

The Open Hair 2009 broke all Visitor records of the previous year, again! The Open Hair Festival for hair extensions takes place in Hannover (Lower Saxony) and is Nothern Germany's and Central Germany's biggest hair extensions exposition and hairdressers show!

The year 2009 was special for Rapunzel of Sweden because they could take part in this big hair extension exposition and be in the middle of this big show where the Northern German Championships for hair extensions beginners to experts participated!

Juan-Pedro Jurado-Santamaria, our Hairdresser and Marketing responsible of this activity, reported about amazed people that liked our brand and loved the Hair quality of the hair extensions of Rapunzel of Sweden.

They where also amazed that we didn’t only have Pre bonded nail hair extensions or Pre bonded Microrings extensions like all the others! We showed the people newest hair extensions techniques, for example how to make pre bonded hair extensions with Keratin nails, or how to adjust Clip-on extensions, how to glue in Silicon wefts, or how to adjust standard hair wefts ! The show is created by Jennifer Håkansson, and the inspiration came from the "seven mortal sins"

Rapunzel of Sweden HAIR EXTENSIONS IS NOW A NEW WAY OF LIFE FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD.

The founder of Rapunzel of Sweden Hair Extensions, Ida Backlund was on september 24th 2009 awarded the title and price: "Young entrepreneur of the year in Sweden" at the largest Business Enterprise Gala at the City Hall of Stockholm.

The other winners:

Founder of the year 2009: Johan Skarborg & Jeremias Andersson - Academic Work.

Portfolio-builder of the year 2009: Salvatore Grimaldi - Grimaldi Industri. The example of the year 2009: Bicky Chakraborty - Elite Hotels.

The creator of Founders Alliance who is behind the Award, says that IDA is a future example for young entrepreneurs

My hair was very short before I tried a hair extension from you and I was told that it would be close to impossible to get it really good looking, but I have to say I am completetly happy about the hair extensions result ! It was an exciting experience to make a hair extension, but now afterwards I am incredibly pleased with the results!  I used approx. 150 pieces of pre bonded nail hair extensions, colour black!
